A great cheap and convenient stay for my overnight trip in Sydney! Staff were super friendly and rooms and facilities were spacious and clean, however the AC was not that strong so it did get quite hot overnight! I booked directly so got to make use of the luggage storage before + after check out which was super helpful. Highly recommend for all travellers :)

Had a great stay here for four nights, the hostel is clean and all the other guests were quiet and respectful. The pods themselves are good, quite roomy and comfortable - but the gaps between the pods and walls can be a bit annoying with some light coming through at night (I'd recommend bringing an eye mask). The front desk provides ear plugs which is great as we had a loud snorer one of the nights! The bathrooms are kept clean and I never had to wait to shower. Good stay for a work trip.

The facilities are great, pods offer amazing privacy for the price given. The place is really clean, kitchen facilities are good and the showers are really spacious - no waiting times. It’s a quiet, peaceful environment and the mattresses are really comfortable! The staff are really kind and helpful, very much enjoyed mu stay there!

The hostel was incredible. The rooms, common areas, bathrooms and kitchen were all super clean and well maintained. The staff are so friendly and lovely- they’ll bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. The location is great with major areas being accessible via tram, train or even walking. I would 10/10 recommend this hostel and would definitely go back. Thanks for a great stay in Sydney

The hostel is located in Sydney Central, near World Square (many restaurants and Coles), just across the junction. During my stays, this hostel is the best I ever stayed in Sydney. The hostel is spotless and comfortable. They provide towels for free, unlike some hostels, where you have to rent them; complimentary tea and coffee are also available, as are facilities such as an iron, aminitieskitchen supplies, lockers, and laundry. The shower room and toilet are also super clean. The staff was very friendly and nice to me, especially the Thai staff. You can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. , No doubt, I would really recommend this hostel. I will also come back if I revisit Sydney.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Pod Sydney! Every staff member I met was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely thoughtful. They really go above and beyond. The whole place is spotless, and the environment is extremely comfortable. The bed space is honestly the best I’ve ever experienced in a hostel — and I’ve stayed in more than ten hostels around the world. The pods are spacious, almost like a small double bed, and there is so much storage space. It truly feels private and cozy. One moment that really touched me: I accidentally got oil stains on my clothes, and one of the staff members patiently showed me how to clean them and even helped me find the perfect spot to hang them to dry. I felt so well taken care of. I genuinely love this hostel and highly recommend it to everyone! The location is perfect — right in the city center and close to everything you would want to explore. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. I will definitely come back!

First time trying a hostel and it was above expectations. I stayed for 3 nights in total for a short vacay. I was welcomed by a person at check-in, received a towel, shower products and a blankie for my stay. I also had the option to get a bed clean up after 3 days. The rooms were super clean, there were signs with 'Keep quiet' everywhere and I was able to rest and enjoy my pod without any disturbance. There was ventilation in the room, which was great for mid-summer in Sydney! A bit small for a six people room, there were a few clothing items and suitcases on the floor, despite having lockers provided in the room. But it was quiet and the bed was spacious enough. The bathrooms and shower were well maintained, and there was access to them pretty much from morning til late night. The open kitchen had coffee and cooking facilities (I didn't use them, but it was clean when I stopped by). Quick list of booking benefits for anyone intersted: - 12PM late check-out (on request) - Daily fresh towels - Bed cleaning option every 3 days - 1 free laundry use (for 3+ nights) - Flexible date changes (even for non-refundable bookings) - Free shampoo & body wash - Luggage storage available for more than one day after check-out Overall a nice experience, I felt safe and taken care of by their team.
